The first ever game i went to. only 7 years old. Since this game i've supported stevenage. I dont remember much about this game. I remember a late shot (88th minute) skimming over the bar that would of won us the game (obviously). A boy i knew from school sat behind me, and the sight of an excitable east terrace. 10 years on and the east terrace is now a part of me. Through a 5-0 win against droylsden, a 2-1 loss to cambirdge, the pitch invasion against york when we got handed the blue square premier trophy. and the last 2 years in the football league, a painful 1-0 loss in the rain and cold against hereford, a thrilling 3-3 draw against bury last game of the season to secure play offs, the 2-0 win against accrington in the first play off leg. And now, wins over sheffield wednesday, sheffield united and charlton, all teams i watched in the premier league on tele at times. now i'm 6 days away from the last game of the season, against bury, and once again trying to secure play offs.
I've enjoyed every minute (mainly) and it all came from this game. Who said 0-0 draws were bad?
