Just Fairsy I went to the game. Only 90 mins drive from Ipswich to Barnet. Went to a local boozer just down the road from the ground and chatted with the locals, including some fruit cake who seemed to support Spurs, Watford and Barnet. Had a decent kebab and walked up to the ground. As expected very small stadium but decent facilities, especially for a now non-league club, which is a shame after last years relegation. Everything seems to revolve around Manager, Capt etc Edgar Davids who for the day was wearing the #1 shirt and the GK not having any number at all. Game was typical pre-season friendly approach and not exactly entertaining - 2nd half better than the 1st. We edged it 1-0 with a McGoldrick header after Loach saved a pen in the 1st half. No real stand out player but thought Hewitt did well when pushed forward to MR from full back and Skuse did well in the middle. Bramble played for ITFC again for 40 odd mins after training with the club for the past couple of weeks but after Berra's signing cannot see us signing him permanently.
