Comments :
A Scottish League Cup game which the hosts won easily. Remarkable for Falkirk players going on strike in the following days. Loved Muirton Park - a fine old ground. The main stand smelt of woodbines. Those were in the days before we had faced the awfulness of Valley Parade.
