I always look at fixtures to try and do in pre-season that are geographically and logistically straight forward, with Wimbledon on the up and up I thought this would be good time to see them. Once off at the brilliantly titled Norbiton train station it's literally a ten minute walk to the ground, which is somewhat tucked away off the main road. True of typical non-league grounds it's not much to look at but a couple of main stands, and the pitch was in good shape. It was an absolutely scorching day, fairly lively but not too many clear cut chances. Despite being two divisions lower Wimbledon played better on the day, goals from Molley and Minshull in the second half securing the win.
