The F.A.Cup round 5 and at long last everyone has got a cup draw they want !! Derby County away, the best away trip you could possibly and everyone wants a ticket for this one !! There''s a group off 14 going up with other friends and assosiates also going to the best away trip available !! Joe and Sarah set off early and the regular wino Joe HAS to be in a pub for 11am, the 11:10 arrival by the rest off them isn''t good enough so he takes Sarah for a romantic fry up. Jimmy picks up Chris and Daisy who head for a breakfast at munch with Warren, Help and Mackay. Help and Mackay are estatic after they only managed to get there tickets a day earlier from Chris''s connections on the street !! A munch and then off to the train station, Jimmy facking uncomfortable van is dropped off and Marc is collected and the group head off to the train station to meet back up with the lads !! Ash is not on board and the group head to new street. Big eck is met at new street, Stu and his two mates are met on the train and the group are on there way !! The train is rammed with bluenoses everywhere, Chris, Daisy and Big eck get a seat with Stu and his mates while the rest off the gang start. A short train journey is completed without any drink altho big eck looks like his had a few as he launches a coffee all over himself. The group are in Derby and head to the merry widdows, a favourite off theres on previous trips, however the little pub is packed and they decide the best move will be to head to the brunswick. A couple off officers outside politely say hello and the group are in and the beer start flowing. Joe soon arrives follows by Sarah who looks like she is limping, Dave Truman was obviously right, Joe is a big lad. Smalley is in the pub recked as usual and jumps out in front off the group. Pete and his mates are in the boozer and Joe abandons Sarah and goes for a long chat. 12pm arrives and Chris relises most the group have downed 2 pints already, its gonna be a long day !! Dougie soon arrives and Joe is shocked to see him soba, the beer keeps flowing as kick off approaches. Mackay is enjoying himself as he ends his away game virginity. Chirs, Joe, Warren and Ash reflect on previous Derby trips, Daisy is enjoying her Sarah and black, Sarahs on the wine, Jimbo admits feeling half cut after two pints, big eck is putting the lager away and chatting away, Stu and his mates are enjoying the day and Marc is asking to borrow money (nothing new there). A good sing song and the group soon head off for the game. Joe and Sarah dissapear, dont know where they went, Marc treats himself to a king size spliff and the work to Pride Park is soon complete and after the long walk round the Stadium the group are in. Straight to the row off 12 seats together and the game begins. Robbie Savage takes a barrage off stick from the 5500 travelling supporters and loves every minute off it waving and replying to ''Theres only one greedy bas*ard'' with cash gestures. The first half is not the greatest and takes a while to get going. Cameron Jerome is played through by Christian Benitez but his shot is excellently saved. Lee Bowyer has a shot also saved but as the half comes to a close Derby are unlucky not to be in front. Joe Hart makes a good save with his chest and moments later keeps out a hot at point blank range that Liam Ridgewell clears. The game is goaless at the break. Half time is a dissapointment as there is no lager for sale and limited food. Chris gives up while big eck has a quick munch. The rest off the group pop out to polute the ozone layer and big eck is soon stalked. With her wooly hat and scarf and attempting to look at Rich sexy Jenny arrives and interigates the young man to what his been doing and who he has been doing it with ??????????????? Unfortunaley for Jenny Chris is there and he wont be losing big eck without a fight. Jenny soons calm down and Big eck is relieved. Back up for the second half and the game re-starts and then tradigy strikes. On the lads fourth visit together for the first time they find themself behind. Jay McKeverley unleashes a long ranger that bobbles over Hart and Birmingham are behinf. V and W*nker signs are made to the Derby fans in frustration. Everyone is now worried, Birmingha, with 37 points on the board in the premiership with 13 games to play are as good as safe and to go out the FA Cup will leave the remainder off the season to fizzle out and there wont be much to play for. Not that this current situation wouldn''t have been snapped up if offered at the start off the season but things have changed. Birmingham has recently come off a club record 15 match unbeaten run and are hungary for success. The second half begins and suddenly tradigy strikes !! For the first time out off all the Derby trips Birmingham go behind. Jay McKeverley unleases a shot the bobbles past Joe Hart and Derby are in front !! The Birmingham fans not happy give the old Derby fans the V and wa**er signs and begin to worry !! God........................I mean Alex Mcleish relises he needs to do something and makes a double change bringing on Phillips and Gardner. With 18 or so minutes remaining Phillips has a shot saved and a corner is awared, as James McFadden goes over to take the corner big eck gives out a piece off his mind on what he thinks off Jimmy Macs set peices today and how terrible they have been ''Watch this he''ll probably set up a goal now'' he says, the L and G legend is not wrong and Jimmy Macs swinging corner is headed home by Scott Dann for his first goal for the club but more inportantly the equaliser. 1-1 !! The Birmingham supporters are happy now and pick up the volume by singing louder ad giving Savage more stick !! 90 minutes arrives and 5 minutes added time which is the old 4 minutes, which is the old 3 minutes, which is the old 2 minutes, which is the old minute is added on. Half way through injury time a free kick is awarded and Craig Gardner is a blue, is a blue, is a blue, Craigy Gardner is a blue, he hates Villa steps up to take it !! His shot is scoofed but it falls to the legend Kevin Phillips who within a split seconds spins and hits a low shot that hits the post and rolls across the goaline, the kind off man you now need on the end off that is Liam Ridgewell and the new Roberto Carlos is on hand to stab the ball home and win the game. The players run to the supports and go crazy, the supporters are going mad, they have got out off jail and are heading in to the quarter finals, the moment is up there with Stephen Clemences late winner in the 2006 and Cameron Jeromes double in 2007 !! The away end is rocking !! The clock ticks down and with just seconds to spare Savage unleases a dipping 30 yard strike that Hart manages to brilliantly somehow tip over !! The whistle goes and Birmingham are through !! The fans celebrate, the players applaud the supporters and everyone is happy !! The group leave, Daisy, Warren and Ash say there goodbyes as they are heading back early as Daisy is going out on the town and not sure on Warren and Ash''s plans !! Helps find the group and launches to Marcs back only to get a ticking off from Sarah !! The lads bump in to Murphy and a quick hello and celebration and they go there seperate ways. Joe and Sarah again dissapear and everyone is soon split up. Chris, Jimmy, Marc, Mackay and Help walk up together and past the grumpy couple who sit at the end off there row at the Blues. A call from Stu informs the group no away fans are aloud in the brunswick anymore the same as the merry widdows, the group walk on and head to a pub Stu and big eck have found only to be told that its one in one out. Big eck comes out and meets the lads and after another lonf walk they find a pub called the neptune just before 6pm. They are in warm and have a beer, everyone is happy. Stu and the lads soon meet up and Joe and Sarah follow. A few celebration beers and then Help, Marc, Mackay and Sarah decide to call it a day and head back. Its just the hardcore left standing Chris, Jimmy, big eck, Joe, Stu and Stu''s two mates (sorry when you read this Stu, I cant remember there names, we won so who cares), the beer continues to flow and Joe is first one smashed and does a little dance that Chris films. Chris also fims a sing song and you Joseph looks smashed on the video. Eventually after a good session the lads decide they have to leave. They get some cans for the train and head back. A quick chat with some Forest fans at the station who give the lads a chorus off keep right on and then on the train they get. Big eck gets chatting away to people and the singing soon begins. The lads are are joined by another 4 bluesnoses one side and 2 the other side and some table banging, ceiling banging and a good sing song begin. A telling off by the ticket man and the group soon arrive back in Birmingham and go there seperate ways. I cant remember where and what everyone did so I will just talk about me and Jimmy. A quick Kebab for the Paul Hart wannabe, a subway for Fletch and Jimmy and the lads decided to call it a day. A few cans and they get the train back to Northfield. Jimmy tries to seduce Michelle over text and the bluezu''s are soon back at Chris''s moms cabbaged and asleep !! WHAT A DAY !! A DAY YOU WISHED WOULLDN''T END !! IF ONLY WE COULD PLAY AT DERBY EVERY WEEK !!!!!!!!!!!
