All I can say about this result was... HAHAHAHA I was there with tons of chelsea fans (my mate is a chelsea fan) and inside I was thinking that it was hilarious. My friend is a chelsea fan and so offered me a ticket to go up as the travel was free by chelsea football club and it seems like it would be a great day out. The transport to Oakwell was fantastic (chelsea did a very good job there) but Oakwell, man that place is a shit hole! horrible facilities, no pubs in sight (the chelsea fans were put in this building that had been converted to a bar-ish thing for the football match and while me and my mate were getting a pint in the bar room the bloody shutter fell down behind us! which caused all sorts of panic in the room) and i personally wouldnt want to go back to oakwell myself. the atmosphere was very good with the barnsley and chelsea fans producing a lot of it. The football was a bit average as barnsley literally held up the ball and blocked all chelsea attacks until they got their vital goal (I have never seen so many fans go so bezerk in a stadium before, man that was scary! people were getting arrested all over the place!) Joe Cole was a great sight to see and provide most of chelsea's skill to be honest. But overall good day out, shite stadium and hilarious result!
