Comments :
This is a game I will never forget for both good and bad reasons, We were going into this game not playing well and I was worried we could get beat badly again. The Good: The atmosphere approaching the ground inside the stadium was terrific, both sets of fans were very vocal and up for the game, add the return of one of my favourite players Paul Scholes to the mix and it was electric. The first half was an absolute dream, Kompany being sent off and us taking a 3-0 lead, I couldn''t believe it. The second half was probably the most nervous at a game I have ever been, with City coming back to 2-3 I really thought they would nick a 3rd but fortunately we held on for a great win. After the game we were kept in for a really long time, the bonus side to that was Darren Fletcher was in the stands with us so we all got a sight of him which was nice. The Bad: After finally being let out of the ground we were escorted along a certain path by the police, unfortunately this took us down a road which placed us in the centre of two packs of City fans who were not happy they lost, there was bottles, bricks, glasses you name it being thrown, fights in the street it was madness. I never want to experience anything like that again. Still to see us win in their back yard was worth the trip.
