First game back in the Premiership and no disgrace. we played quite well, but the difference was the finishing. Worringly Sylvan went off injured which left us with 10 men for the last 10 minutes. Great atmosphere and thankfully the fans stayed with the team the whole 90 mins. Robert Plant was made a vice president and said a few words before the game (brilliant!) & there was also a minutes applause follwonig the sad death of Bobby Robson. Met up with Barry who we hadn't seen for 8 years in the Gt Western for a couple before we headed off to the game. It was great to catch up and reminice. I left the pub a little early to hand out tickets and Si didn't turn up. He stayed in the pub with Barry saying his enthusaism had waned. Must be if he's going to miss the first Premier game in 5 years.
