One of the very few times I ever got injured at a football match: caught in the face at close range by a sharpened coin, which narrowly missed my eye. Still in shock some hours later and travelling back up to the North East I recall driving the wrong way round a roundabout somewhere near Middlesbrough - fortunately without incident.
