What a lovely club.
A long train journey but interesting on the Preston to Burnley line going through Blackburn (past the Thwaites brewery) and Accrington. Still have to go to both of these !!
VIP tickets in the 1882 lounge. Good food, lots to drink and an excellent host (Jeff Brown - bald on top but long at the back) - hilarious**
Gareth came with us and guessed the time of the first goal to the precise second and won a signed Burnley football.
We all drank too much and all fell asleep on the train. Still not sure who saved us from London.
Another great day with lovely people.
** just found out he used to the be the man on the Safestyle windows commercial (catchphrase = You buy one - you get one free)

Poor game. Brighton looked good up to the last pass. Burnley a bit physical 5 booked to Albions 1. Nice little old ground. Parked in the cricket ground next door for a fiver.

Nice ground Home End looked quite impressive. Parked in cricket ground for £5 had a pint in Cricket pavillion. Meat & potato pie was nice. Not the best game I've ever seen. Thought BHA could have shared the points if they could put across a better final ball.
