| Not a pretty ground (by any comparison) from the outisde but compact and cosy on the inside. Lunch in the Dixie Dean Suite (with the directors). Funny and old fashioned but excellent (really !!!) food (savoury mince with a pie crust) and a bottle of the most expensive red wine (£16.95). freindly staff, friendly people and a hand shake for the chairman.
Not a great game but again friendly people all around and fanatical supporters in the directors' box.
And the two guys behind us jabbering away in high-pitched and largely unintelligibel scouse.
Then back to the Liverpool Hilton and dinner in Alma da Cuba.
