| An entertaining game which Chestefield should never have lost. They pressed the whole game and dominated possesion, but were caught out by two gifts of goals in the first half. Just when you thought they could get something by getting one back, Grimsby promptly went up the other end, got a penalty which saw a sending off too. So, 1-3.......and it boiled over in the last ten with another sending off leaving each team with 10 men.
A good game though in a pleasant nice new stadium.
