Perhaps the worst performance of the season so far as Brighton lost 3-0 to relegation strugglers Millwall. The Seagulls looked poor from the opening, and there was little boxing day cheer for the travelling fans as Gary Alexander scored a hattrick for the home side to ease their relegation worries.   The New Den is a great little ground - not as hostile as its reputation would suggest, and tucked nicely amongst the local area. The Millwall fans are not the noisiest but certainly far from silent, helped today of course by their side's rampant display.
