Went on the Palace coach. As I remember there was not much for Palace to play for here but Bolton needed a win to clinch promotion. This they did with goals from Neil Whatmore and Frank Worthington. A fantastic party atmosphere for Bolton and one of the very few times I have enjoyed a game where Palace lost and were well beaten.
