I dropped Heather off at dancing first and then got underway.
I decided to cross the Penines the countryside rote and arrived in Northwich at about 1100 to drop off Harry de-Wolfe''s rucksack. After a quick chat I was away and soon up the M6 to Blackpool. I stopped off for a Kentucky at the services and was frustrated at the wi-fi not working.
In Blackpool I parked next to a Premier Inn to sneakily use their wi-fi. I discovered that caJessica''s friend Erica had won a lot of prizes in her Highland Dance competition. Jessica was still dancing.
I parked in a car park and the machine refused to accept any of my three bank cards.
A kind woman gave me £1.50 to give me enough change for the required £3.50 ticket.
After a few photographs outside the ground I entered and inside the ground seemed small to what I''d expected. The crowd was even smaller. Bradford had completely filled their allocation though.
The first half was dire. Only a couple of shots and none on target, although Blackpool did hit the cross bar right at the end. Bradford appeared to have the edge and looked the better side. By half time it felt very very cold!
The second half started off brightly and Bradford scored an early goal. It soon slipped back to a similar vain to the first half though.
I waved Harry the haddock around to keep warm.
It was good to get away. I was amazed to see that the crowd was over 8780. It looked more like 5000!
