Second game in a week and the Bees didn't quite live up to expectations against a surprisingly good footballing Hartlepool side who started the day propping up League One.
My main reason for attending was the hope of seeing Paul Hayes bounce back from Tuesday's poor finishing and bag his first goals for the Bees. Hayes bagged a brace and I was well chuffed for him. Although some wanted loanee Spencer to start I was glad Rosler stuck by our man.
The Bees play didn't quite flow as in recent games but some nice moves nevertheless saw us edge in front twice only to be pegged back by own goals from Dean and Craig.
The only disappointment for me was Rosler moving to one up front to try ad see out the game. Usually a poor decision and today was no exception.
