Comments :
A great little ground and another excellent day out despite the weather (cold drizzle). Had a stadium tour with Ken Mulhearn and Charlie got a shock when a young fit very black man came naked out of the shower. Her mother would have needed defibrilating!!! Lovely lounge looking out across the pitch and excellent food (although C was too stuffed to eat hardly any of it) plus delicious Coors Light and a bottle of excellent Argentinian Malbec. Very good standard of football played and The Shrews (come on Salop !!) deserved more than a 1-0 win.

Grandison''s early goal gave Shrews the advantage against a physical Bradford team, characterised by Guy Branston in centre defence. The Birmingham-born CB scraped home after a Richards corner wasn''t cleared and afterwards the Bantams fans were frustrated by a pedantic ref who had no nonsense. Disappoingting crowd for Bank Holiday Monday and a big away following.
